Moss, moss, everywhere. Luckily the terrain is getting smoother, no more sharp rocks underneath the green moss, waiting to break your ankles. The forest looks like no one has been here for ages. No B&B for you. The good news is that the animals don't fear humans and you should have no problem catching yourself some dinner.

[ purses lips and tries to stand on his feet again. ]

I'm fine, I just need to-- [ there goes his foot again. looks up at her incredulously and gestures in her general vicinity. ] Oh, come on! How are you doing that... thing? The standing, you... you girl!

[holds hands up like 'wasnt me' and then puts her hands on her hips. sassy hip hands.]

Girl. It's got nothing to do with me being a girl you oaf. How about you look where those big feet of yours are standing instead of trying to stand all coolly.

They're standing on the ground of course! Which is why I shouldn't be falling off. That's how grounds work, you see.

[ digs one foot under a root. good plan, yes. slowly moves the other around and leans it against another bump. ] Aha! Here we go!

[ stands up all... not coolly, his legs spread across. it just looks like he tried to do a split and failed miserably. ]

[she should just let him struggle and learn for himself but eventually she caves and takes his hand to help him on more steady ground]

[ he takes her hand gladly, wobbling his way over to her until he manages to find some steady ground. bumps a little against her, but finds his balance soon. ]

Well, that was only slightly embarrassing. [ said as he smoothes down his green-stained jacket. then he grabs her hand again. ] Alright, then! Where should we go now? I think I was coming that way-- [ points. ] -- or maybe that one. [ points opposite. ]

[uses other hand to steady him out before backing up to make sure he's got it. you good? we good? and looks around to see where he's gotten lost]

Camp's that way. [nods to her right] Unless you were headed somewhere different.

[ dismisses that suggestion with a head shake. ]

No, I've been to the camp already. It's everywhere else that I haven't explored yet.

[so basically you're just out to slip and crack your head open okay]

[looks out to where he was headed and then back to him]

Don't think you'll find much out here than more moss to cover your bottom with.

[ smiles at. come on, clara it's an adventure. ]

[she sure does love adventures. not even ninurta could really beat them out of her, especially with the doctor around. if they get into trouble, at least she knows there is a backup. they're out of the creepy forest, so why not indulge him]

[grows one of those knowing, well appreciated smiles as she reaches out for his hand again]

[takes her hand, cupping it with both his own before he takes a couple steps away from the camp, tugging her along.]

Alright! The Doctor and Clara, off they go! [just like it's supposed to be, here or anywhere. even without the TARDIS.]

[looks back at camp for a moment, sorry not sorry, but still slightly guilt ridden before letting him tug her along.]

What they'll find, no one knows.

Perhaps just more moss, or a creature most foul...

[walking slowly, as he'd rather not slip and fall again. that would look extremely unimpressive and they can't have that.]

[as occasionally she looks distracted by her own thoughts. He seems to be having a good time though. Even if they aren't finding anything.]

Have you ever been stuck like this before?

No. Well, yes. I've been stuck many times before, in many different places, sometimes even lost access to the TARDIS, or misplaced her, have had her taken from me, or got captured myself-- sometimes the both of us at the same time.

I've been stuck for a long time, long periods of time... I couldn't leave. But eventually I'd find a way. Or other people would, and come to my rescue. [a shrug. he doesn't look too distressed about the situation.] This isn't so bad. I'd rather know where the TARDIS is right now, but I have the key with me, so it should be fine.
