Moss, moss, everywhere. Luckily the terrain is getting smoother, no more sharp rocks underneath the green moss, waiting to break your ankles. The forest looks like no one has been here for ages. No B&B for you. The good news is that the animals don't fear humans and you should have no problem catching yourself some dinner.
[ mission: camp, try not to die, etc. ]

Well, that was only slightly embarrassing. [ said as he smoothes down his green-stained jacket. then he grabs her hand again. ] Alright, then! Where should we go now? I think I was coming that way-- [ points. ] -- or maybe that one. [ points opposite. ]
no subject
Camp's that way. [nods to her right] Unless you were headed somewhere different.
no subject
No, I've been to the camp already. It's everywhere else that I haven't explored yet.
no subject
[looks out to where he was headed and then back to him]
Don't think you'll find much out here than more moss to cover your bottom with.
no subject
[ smiles at. come on, clara it's an adventure. ]
no subject
[grows one of those knowing, well appreciated smiles as she reaches out for his hand again]
Right you are, then.
no subject
Alright! The Doctor and Clara, off they go! [just like it's supposed to be, here or anywhere. even without the TARDIS.]
no subject
[humming to herself as she glances bout]
What they'll find, no one knows.
no subject
[walking slowly, as he'd rather not slip and fall again. that would look extremely unimpressive and they can't have that.]
[pointing his screwdriver at one tree or another occasionally.]
no subject
Have you ever been stuck like this before?
no subject
I've been stuck for a long time, long periods of time... I couldn't leave. But eventually I'd find a way. Or other people would, and come to my rescue. [a shrug. he doesn't look too distressed about the situation.] This isn't so bad. I'd rather know where the TARDIS is right now, but I have the key with me, so it should be fine.

You think you'd have a tracky...thingy. Like how you found it last time. [at the south pole. that was a long ride]
no subject
[was that a button]
[that was a button]
[usually he loves buttons, especially if they're big and bright and blinky, but right now, not so much.]
Clara, I don't want to alarm you but I think I just stepped on something very important.

Doctor. [what do we do. shuffles slightly like do we leg it]
no subject
[gives her hand a squeeze and
slowly
lifts his foot from the rock]
no subject
[button remains sunk in when his foot lifts. the rumbling continues on for a moment until there is a 'locking' noise from beneath them]
no subject
[then the ground gives way, dropping them down into a mossy tunnel slide by way of the creek. enjoy the ride]
no subject
[amusement park drop scream]
no subject
[pulls her close and holds tightly]
no subject
[theres loops and turns and twists until the slide empties you two out into a large pool. its dark as hell except for a splinter of light seeping in from the ceiling a good height above them. looks like you've ended up in some sort of long forgotten temple]
no subject
[pops out of the water with a heavy gasp and one of those 'wet cat' positions with her arms out before she just stops and starts laughing]
[thatwasawesome]
no subject
[struggles on the water like a drowning cat for the first ten seconds, ready to make an annoyed remark when he finally draws a new breath, but finds her laughing, so he laughs too.]
no subject
[brushes her hair out of her face and gives him a shove, nearly breathless]
That's more like it, yeah? [you found something, doctor, congratulations.]
[hikes skirts up to wade over and out of the pool and begin the painstaking process of getting the water out before she can start tying them up to be out of the way.]
