You've left the camp and barely started today's journey when the rains come. If it was humid before, well, now it's something like Amazon except less like a jungle. The trees protect you from the wind but the raindrops fall hard and you'll be all soon wet to the core. Take cover under the trees because this cloud isn't going away in a minute.

Moss, moss, everywhere. Luckily the terrain is getting smoother, no more sharp rocks underneath the green moss, waiting to break your ankles. The forest looks like no one has been here for ages. No B&B for you. The good news is that the animals don't fear humans and you should have no problem catching yourself some dinner.

Nothing like a fresh new day after a horrible creepy forest to get you to a fresh new start, eh? Keep walking but don't expect to run into any locals soon, no one wants to live near that place. Instead of trading with merchants you'll have to look for food all by yourself.

You lost your horses and wagons ages ago which is almost a good thing considering that there's no way those things could have made it through this terrain. There's bright green moss covering every stone and rock. Watch out, it's slippery.

After the hole is sealed and Ninurta's done away with, your entire party is bippity bopped to the other side of the forest. If there were stragglers that got separated, you're all in one place again. If you lost gear, weapons, phones, whatever, it's back on your person, functional again. If you lost any organs you're on your own though. No but basically you've been bewitched to safety out of the forest and the evil noises have stopped, you're homefree, homies. There's a crow perched on a rundown fence post along the road watching you with beady little eyes before it takes off back into the forest.

The map takes you to a rundown little bed and breakfast not but a fifteen minute walk out that looks like it was abandoned a while ago. No foul play, just closed for business, the economy is rough when you're located next to a haunted forest. Feel free to avail yourself of its beds, there's no room service but least you don't have to pay.

[Mission: get your bearings, make sure all your shits there, do a headcount, follow the road. call dibs on a room. rest up]
