The kind Loch Ness Monster (?) drops you off once the swamp comes to an end. The ground is dry and stable again, but the eerie fog lingers still. The old trees around you are covered in heavy moss, but you can tell you'll be soon out of the forest since the weak wind carries a smell of fresh air. One last push and you'll be out of here!
[ mission: don't get lost in the forest. ]

[has he been there the whole time, smoking disapprovingly? probably.]

looks at him and frowns a little. there's demons too. great. ]
What? [ where did the brit come from. ] Christ, how many of you are there?
no subject
Hear what he said? Don't do any of that. Stick around to chat with a ghost and you're either gonna get jumped or torn apart. They see what they want to see, you're not gonna be able to convince them otherwise.
[looks up at hel. you should be able to attest to that seeing as the minute you crossed the salt line their friendly neighborhood ghost was up in you like hook in ur tits]

[pitches the end of the cigarette into the campfire when it starts to burn his fingers.]
Well. Carry on, I'll be sure to correct you when you need it.

Ghosts are usually bound by insufferable emotions and grudges, right? I can't imagine them being very reasonable creatures.
[i mean that last one. come on. pulled a crossbow on allsyall]

he was inside her body and that's not even talking about how wrong these pronouns are.
entertained in cleaning up the gun like it's a baby rather than looking at clara because she's still in that weird place about her sry2say ]
You talk to them. If another one tries that, I'm not going to stay for a chat over tea and biscuits.
no subject
You got it. Demons are another story. Salt works, yeah, but it's kinda like getting a papercut. Stings but it ain't gonna slow em down. Holy water'll put hurt on them, give you a little time to get out of dodge.
[fitting slide back onto pistol...it's awkward mansplaining this]
Most likely you won't even know it's a demon until it's got its hands around your throat because they walk around in meatsuits. People like you and me.
no subject
That's reassuring. [ inspecting a spring ] And how are we getting holy water around these parts?
[ what even defines holy water? jesus? ]

[gets misty-eyed at the mention of tea and biscuits, but powers through. starts rooting around in his pockets for his cigarettes.]
Most important thing to remember with demons is that exorcism usually isn't death. Unless you're unpossessable for some reason, make certain either you're in a protective circle, to keep the demon out, or it is, to keep it in.

[if you know everything, mr i get possessed like a doofus]
I get we're reading off different pages here with the whole different worlds crap but how about you save your comments until the end, professor.
[we havent even gotten to exorcisms yet we're still way back in holy water stop skipping chapters]
no subject
Not at all. But things here work differently than either of our worlds, looks like. Just thought twice as much information might mean getting it right at least half of the time.
[this is constantine's serious face. lights the cigarette. possibly for dramatic effect.]
We're not just on different pages, we're reading two different books in the midst of an alien library.

[you guys done]
[can we get back to the interesting stuff]

You can bless water yourself. Rosary, the right words, just add water.
[blasphemy is delicious]
no subject
What, don't even need to be holding a Bible? [ kind of really amused because lol religion she can't take it seriously especially not after all of this ] That's handy.
[ looks at clara and then back at dean. what about what she was talking about ]
no subject
Doesn't work like that for me, but since "Jimmy" didn't seem like much of a priest I'd reckon whatever your system is works fine here.
If you've got time later I might be interested to learn your incantation.
[likes the idea of a demon-blooded professional blasphemer successfully blessing water.]
no subject
[but i can ask it now]
What about the black blood?
[re: interrogation]
no subject
Leviathans. Advanced class stuff. Haven't seen any rearing their uglyass heads around these parts yet so I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

extra meticulous with the gun but with so many people around she's afraid someone might kick it so quickly puts it back together and straps it to the thigh holster
in stylized slowmo
clicks her tongue and glances at dean before tilting her head with a sort of smirk ]
You're fucked up. [ might be a compliment. might not. who knows! ]
no subject
I'd say victim of circumstance but that might be giving circumstance too much credit.
[finishes packing it all away neatly and zips duffel up]

Don't make any promises to a demon you can't avoid keeping. Preferably don't make any promises, and certainly don't make any deals. Don't break any promises to a ghost, especially if it's predisposed to be vengeful.
[smoke ring.]
Do not fuck about with angels.
no subject
Common sense.
[that sounds a lot like common sense]
no subject
whatever. halloween crap. ]
Anything else from preventing the holy ghost possession? [ that's what she's interested in to be fair ]
