Wow, happy reunion. You lost some, you gained others. Two of them are meatheads. Awesome. Give them shit to carry since you don't have any horses. Once you've all made acquaintance and had tearful reunions and UST encounters, it's a good chance to sleep in for the night. It's a very deserted city so you can sleep peacefully.

When the sun rises then, time to tie your shoes and set off to adventure! Hurrah! Tumbataure's season three premiere!

[Mission: No more lazy! Decide what to do and pack your bags, you're back with the fellowship. LOTR walk montage. I bet you missed that.]

(April 16th - 18th)
When all is well for you to finally haul ass and move on from telemundoville, it looks like a new alternative has popped into the realm of existence that seems to have sidetracked you from your primary mission. It's the promise of returning home that doesn't involve genocide or muppet treasure, so hey, that's good. But before you head to the fabled Arunafeltz, you might want to hit up the next closest spot of civilization and lay your groundwork before heading all the way over to find that the place is a sham or it doesn't exist anymore.

Your next destination is a little village called Hugel, which isn't more than a day and a half journey. A few of the liberated townspeople from Apfelstrudel seem to be heading there as well. The view seems like a nice
quaint bit of countryside.

[Mission: Make it to Hugel and hope your dreams aren't crushed]

Hey good job guys you actually fulfilled a mission of a post for once and nothing got set on fire? Wow gold star what special little sports you are. Okay so once you pick up and leave town after you stay the night you're on the road again, you're headed for a small village about a half day's walk. Take up your horses and your wagon and all that and hit the old oregon trail etc

Somewhere along your walking montage you'll pass a gathering of stones that look kind of out of place. You can stop to poke it if you're really bored but you're going to have to keep moving, so

[Mission: walking montage, poke things, be cool]

You've made it out of the prairie and underbrush, congratulations! But with the lack of supplies from the journey around Alderwood has left you beat. Your horses hate you, you've got sand up in places where it's not welcome, you're hungry, cranky, and if you've been riding you'll be walking like Dean for a little bit. Lucky enough for you, the next town isn't much of a detour, so you can restock, trade, and try not to burn anything down.

[Mission: Stock up, let the horses rest, treat your cholera, etc]

[Mission: you're still on the road. are you hungry yet. tired? too bad.]

07 May 2013 @ 06:01 pm
Well good job by setting right by the people. Alderwood is going to be up in arms for a while now, but that's not your problem. Now that you're done crumbling governments and reuniting people with their lovers and uncles and uncle lovers (probably), it's about high time that you start your journey to the next checkpoint.

You've got a bit of desert to cover, and a day to spend passing through it. You can either bypass Alderwood altogether, which costs an extra two days, or take the train on through and risk being shot at for a third (or fourth...fifth) time. The train is quicker, but evidently both ways have their set of dangers. It's really up to you.

[Mission: pick a way and go. it's gonna suck either way.]

26 April 2013 @ 08:28 pm
The further north you travel, the more arid your surroundings get. What used to be forests of brush and trees become more and more sparse. With less to save you from the sun, you find yourselves tiring more quickly than usual. You've yet to come across another resource for water, and your canteens are beginning to run low in this heat. With a day or so between checkpoints, you need to figure out how to replenish your resources soon or you just ain't gonna make it.

[Mission: Real world problems]

Congratulations you reached the port town! Now you're leaving. I hope you didn't scatter like a bunch of jackasses, because there's a caravan of freshly stolen horse drawn Oregon trail wagons waiting for you at the bridge. It's still night time so they should have enough cover to sneak out undetected. You can even sleep on the ride but you'll have to pack in 5-6 to a wagon. Hope some of you know how to drive a horse. It will be about a day and a half's ride across the bridge.

[ mission: all aboard ]

19 April 2013 @ 09:03 pm
Leave the trauma forest behind and get a move on!

On to the coast! Ships! There's also a bridge! Hahah!

Which one are you gonna choose?

[ mission: once you've reached the port town discuss if you're taking the large manmade bridge or boarding a ship. it will be a two days' journey of anyway. ]

08 April 2013 @ 10:22 pm
The kind Loch Ness Monster (?) drops you off once the swamp comes to an end. The ground is dry and stable again, but the eerie fog lingers still. The old trees around you are covered in heavy moss, but you can tell you'll be soon out of the forest since the weak wind carries a smell of fresh air. One last push and you'll be out of here!

[ mission: don't get lost in the forest. ]

08 April 2013 @ 11:18 am
Okay, that's enough of sitting on your ass, you have shit to do! Pack up, say goodbye to the circus freaks and their fried chicken and keep moving. You may notice a couple of people are missing or maybe not but who cares? You're like a huge clusterfuck of a group.

LOTR walk up ahead and you'll find a really nifty location. It smells bad. You have to cross it.

Yay.

[ Mission: Cross the smelly swamps. ]

05 April 2013 @ 09:30 am
THe hills are alive with music as you make your way down from String of Pearls. No, not really. It's just the sound of a huge pack of crows flying over your head. Derek's leading you to the meeting point where you're supposed to regroup with team Suicidal.

Ooh, maybe you shouldn't wander off like this... Remember what the old guy said? Of course you don't.

[ mission: what's this about regrouping. ]

01 April 2013 @ 01:32 am
You just lost someone, it's raining and it's cold, but at least the scenery is amazing. According to the map you're headed towards a big town, but it will take days of (lotr) walking to reach it.

In fact the rain stops before you can catch a glimpse of a fancy gate leading to the city on top of a hill.

[ mission: walk walk fashion baby. ]

27 March 2013 @ 11:33 am
Once you leave the party town behind (it takes you a while to walk far enough to shake off the loud music from your ears) the forest suddenly ends and you arrive in a forest open with mysterious water pools. The water is crystal clear and inviting.

[ mission: regroup with dean, clara and hook. ]

25 February 2013 @ 06:03 pm
Time to ditch the cheese van, guys. He's heading the wrong way. Make camp by the trees and try not to freeze to death, it's going to be a cold night.

Also the wolves are howling.

OH AND DID I MENTION YOU'RE GOING TO RUN OUT OF MONEY IF YOU STAY IN B&BS ALL THE TIME? Maybe you should plan something out before they send bounty hunters after you.

[ mission: keep watch so you don't get eaten and discuss how to deal with your money problem. ]

24 February 2013 @ 10:12 pm
You finally set off from the Bed & Breakfast with full tummies and high spirits. It's well into the mid afternoon, and you have a lot of ground to cover before the next landmark. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be possible for you sorry sons of bitches to make it there before sundown. On your way down the beaten path, you come across a dairy farmer's caravan of cheesy goods. They seem nice and homely enough, maybe they'll be willing to help you stragglers along the way.

[Mission: Hitch a ride from the dairy farmer]
