So you're probably dead. A couple of your party members made it to the L4D safehouse and triggered a respawn point, yaay. Anyone that's died is up and mobile again, you're in a sunnier part of the forest just after a large glass greenhouse that has more green foliage and less evil black junk. Regroup, figure out where to go next, avoid murderfest round two.
[Mission: stick together this time and find a way out. don't get murderized by ghosts. whatever ]

[shrugs, squints around like maybe he missed her on the first pass.]
Who knows with this place.

So are we going with I don't care as long as we get out at this point?

[pushes himself to his feet and holds out a hand to help bo up.]
It's just—
I got the impression she'd seen Evil Dead.
[so, illusion or outsider.]

[takes his hand kind of laughing at him as she pulls herself up but the whole idea of it too like it's so ridiculous to get stuck on a reference when you were just gutted by a hentai monster in painful slowmo but it works somehow]

[upsy-daisy. here we go.
looks like everyone is still standing around muttering though so we might be a while.]
I mean I spend a lot of time around aliens and let's face it, I'm pretty much out-of-touch enough to be an alien half the time, so pop culture being such a sign of, of cultural commonality... The point is it's weird to me when something is familiar. Especially here.

[folds arms and looks around at everyone milling about. i guess it takes a while to get your bearings back after being slaughtered. they should really get this show on the road soon though aren't they like a bunch of sitting ducks? are they actually out of danger right now or did they just assume.]
no subject
[mirrors bo's posture and counts milling pcs. is that everyone? he feels like they're missing a few people but if pressed he couldn't exactly name names. just a feeling they don't quite have everybody they came in with.]
Why'd you ask?
no subject
[yeah she watched the american version what? what? uncultured swine. also, buffy reference without the buffy]
no subject
[yeah he doesn't watch a lot of tv. he still hasn't seen die hard. sorry.]

[far eastern legends are not his strong suit.]
Is that— Are we missing anyone? Maybe I'm still trying to count Sookie and Derek but I feel like we're someone short.
no subject
[taps her fingers against her arm as she looks out to headcount again. she'd be more in a we have to go find him tizzy if she wasn't aware they all just pop in when they expire, although can angels like..can they expire. we just don't know]

[remembered halfway through that, though cas might have some kind of magical healing powers, bo had said something about losing hers, so maybe cas(tiel?) all alone in the evil woods wasn't quite so invulnerable.]
Well we can't exactly go back a level and get him. I mean. Can we?
no subject
[technically not making it out alive?]
We already got the being the first ones to go in and die notch on our belts.
no subject
[yeah his expression and tone of voice say no but he does in fact mean yes. he's already checking his guns over to see if they're still rusted shit or what.]
I mean it is kind of my day job, and I guess this would add a certain parallel element to our experience then, wouldn't it? Or. It would mine, at any rate.
no subject
[rush, run, whatever, it's the gist. im guessing their weapons are still useless, not that it matters since she broke one of hers and ditched the other]
Look, that guy he's always with made it out, and they're like glued to each other so he has to be coming out soon, right?
[she just really doesn't want to go back in there if it's not absolutely necessary. not that she's not willing to throw herself in harms way for the dude but she'd rather not die again for no good reason. it was unpleasant.]
no subject
[sighs and eyes the not-so-panicked dean. the two of them, dean and cas, do seem pretty joined at the hip, and if cas's absence isn't bothering dean then it probably shouldn't bother daniel.]
Yeah I'm not fond of the idea of getting my sternum chewed apart again, especially since I didn't seem to have very effectively saved anyone in the process, but I'm actually less fond of the idea of leaving anybody behind. Which. Is probably why we haven't gone anywhere yet, c—

Oh. Oh no. I forgot, August wandered off.
no subject
[didn't we learn our lesson the first time. unfolds arms in that gearing up to go way but also to make the general gesture of youre fucking kidding me]
no subject
Nobody else was awake yet. It was a while ago, back when I was—[gestures at the ground, could mean anything from "dead" to "catatonic with hopeless depression."]
I, uh. Was kind of rude.
no subject
You hurt his feelings so he ran off into the ghost woods?
[im sorry august but you probably deserve that gory death you're about to enjoy. either way, come on loser, we're going after him]
Which way?
no subject
[hesitates, looking at the woods in front of them. he wasn't paying all that much attention and even now he's having trouble working himself into a really good guilt trip, but there's the start of one.]
This way?
no subject
[it's the question mark, fyi. glances back at the party before starting out that way, calling out his name. hello, please come back now, before we have to go on another solo adventure to find your probably dead ass]
no subject
[nope too gross even for sarcasm.
flaps a hand inarticulately, grimaces, hurries to keep up with Bo.]
August!
