Night blankets the villages south of the wall. While the pacifistic Gagarians are huddling around what may be the last bowls they'll ever smoke, the Hildnr are preparing to march and ride out in force come the dawn. Thankfully, you're far enough north that the nights are a hell of a lot longer than normal. Looks like you have about fourteen hours to kill.
You'll probably want to make a stop at the armory to get equipped, at some point, but there's also a fair amount of feasting happening where a bard is telling tales of the Hildnr's victorious history. The Blood Queen is in attendance, accepting oaths and blessing the warriors.
Of course, if what you'd rather do is train, the training yards are open, and there's a small barracks hall that's been outfittedwith clean furs and a roaring fire so you can rest before unleashing your bloodlust. Thoughtful!
Just don't forget: you still gotta find the blood champion, save the helpless stoner fratboys, and make it over that fuckhuge wall before lunchtime tomorrow.

I dunno, you tell me. Although I saw a couple of your friends leave earlier. Was that part of the plan?

Idle talk is what got you into the village?

I meant about the getting out of here, rather than getting in here.

[way to make yourself look useless a+++++]
Meanwhile we've been busting our butts to figure out what happens next. So instead of just sitting around holding your chest maybe you could do something. Or even ask if there's anything you could do.

Hey, calm down, I'm not blaming you. I'm just saying how it usually goes. [ because so far all the plans he's seen have kind of flopped like a dead fish ]
no subject
[ pauses eating. girl you have no idea what we've been through recently. ]
no subject
I can see why that's how it usually goes if this is how you all deal with problems.
[sit around and complain about how other people's plans don't work? why don't you do something about it yourself then, huh guy? sits back with a hurumphy noise.]

glances at michonne and then back at her before just shrugging and going back to eating ]

[ this guy is obviously no soldier. leave him alone. ]

Yeah, awkward city.
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap. It's been a crazy couple days, and I'm still adjusting.

Don't worry, I'm just [ waves hand ] frustrated I guess. This whole thing was a good idea. I'm just worried about next.

We look for the champion.

[she doesn't know their names yet so they're just gonna be their friends until someone clues her in]
no subject
Which friends?

[that's what she said her name was, right? or him]
She skipped town with a bowlegged girl in plaid and her Arwen looking friend.

They'll eventually come back. As long as they're here when we apparently march on to war. [ fml ]

What's this little reunion about?
