Night blankets the villages south of the wall. While the pacifistic Gagarians are huddling around what may be the last bowls they'll ever smoke, the Hildnr are preparing to march and ride out in force come the dawn. Thankfully, you're far enough north that the nights are a hell of a lot longer than normal. Looks like you have about fourteen hours to kill.
You'll probably want to make a stop at the armory to get equipped, at some point, but there's also a fair amount of feasting happening where a bard is telling tales of the Hildnr's victorious history. The Blood Queen is in attendance, accepting oaths and blessing the warriors.
Of course, if what you'd rather do is train, the training yards are open, and there's a small barracks hall that's been outfittedwith clean furs and a roaring fire so you can rest before unleashing your bloodlust. Thoughtful!
Just don't forget: you still gotta find the blood champion, save the helpless stoner fratboys, and make it over that fuckhuge wall before lunchtime tomorrow.

Doesn't look that useful to me.

...It's better for technology anyway.
The most it's been useful here is diagnosis, detecting traps and putting good use to old shackles.

Apparently sword fighting isn't the only new skill you've been practicing. Stealing now too? You're not far from becoming a proper pirate, lass.
[ since you got the traitor side covered and all. ]

I only steal when it's needed.
[goes back to tinkering]

Pirates take only what is needed.

I had a ship once, too. You know. It floated through the sky.
no subject
Really?
Was it a cargo ship?
no subject
[pauses. she cant remember what it was exactly. perturbed.]
no subject
I assume it wasn't a galley.
How did it stay up there? Technology?

[resumes tinkering]

[ flashbacks. at least i have them. ]
I think not. Where did you make port? On the moon?
no subject
[misses it but knows there's no going back to it]
Starports. Planets. Moons. Asteroids. You name it.

A leisure ship in space?
[ chuckles. he'd like to add a ship like that to his list of commandeered vessels. ]
