So upon asking around in Hugel, you've learned that Arunafeltz has been abandoned for some years now. Something about the majority of the city disappearing off until the remainder moved off to Lighthalzen and left the city as a ghost town. Many of them have heard of the traveling machine, but never had seen it for themselves, except for a few who can recount their friends or family members going off world.

The journey to Arunafeltz shouldn't take more than a day. Once you get there, you should start rooting around the city center. Explore a little bit, and enjoy yourself. Your company. You're this much closer to getting home.

[in the center of the room, where the bulk of the machine sits, is a lever and a keyhole. the panel its attached to has 3 lights, none of them are currently lit]

[ groans a little, trying to keep away from all the fog babies and their sobbing diapers ]

Can't anything be easy? [ walks over to the panel and squints at it ] Any ideas?

[dont tempt me ill lockpick it and we'll all die. shuffles to a stop to shine light over the console and kind of leans shoulder away from a tube where a fogbaby is making mouthy faces at him]

[pokes his head back inside the machine. points screwdriver at random parts, checks readings.] ... odd.

[climbs right out and stands up, scans around the room. Runs over to one of the fog babies and touches the glass.] Hello...

[leans to the side to let doctor past when he beelines for the machine and looks over his shoulder making a face as he rips into it]

Hey, 2 minutes to midnight here, you wanna handle with care?

[shines light in his eyes. don't fuck it up]

[goes back to looking around walls and desks and whatever. are there desks? no? just the machine? what's in those tubes anyway.]

Are those... People in there?
