It is dawn. The Hildnr prepare to march for war. Michonne's distraction in releasing the griffins has caused a kerfuffle and catching the spooked mounts sets them back valuable riding time -- the girls have about a ten minute headstart. The fact that the new recruits are missing from the war-band does not go unnoticed and the distant sounds of horns being sounded and the warriors' cry of WUR HA chase them all the way down the mountain as they follow the ice-covered trail back down to the men's village.
They may not find the village as they left it, however. The houses still stand, but the men are nowhere to be found. It looks like a ghost town. The impending sound of the Hildnr army swarming the path behind them gets louder by the minute.

[nods for her warriors to retreat and turns to the group of recruits]
You. You have seen that the Blood Champion was safely returned to Brunhildr. You may see me to release you from your oaths and receive passage.

You guys might be all about the hard decisions, but I'm going to do what's right. And we all know letting that kid rot so that we can keep moving isn't right.

[eyebrows come together in confusion. can't believe someone would be so callous to put their own wellbeing before a little kids]
But since you're so selfish, I'll wait until you're gone before I do anything. Now let go of me.
