You've spent one day at rest in the mountain. You can have two more if you need them, but that might not be wise, seeing as you actually have the chance for a head start. Your call, travelers.

While you're deciding, the cavern dwellers are still quite hospitable. Some of you may even be given gifts; best not to lose those any time soon. The road ahead may be darker than you've yet seen.

[ the medallion's thick, and the face of it is engraved what looks like a typical yin-yang symbol, but there's a third piece integrated into it. ]

It isn't bad. It's normal to want that. I don't think I even remember what it's like. [ being still. ]

And I like it here. It's peaceful, and they haven't tried to kill us.
