Rough day, eh? Time to head home to your loving spouse or to the inn to meet with your best mates. Anyway, the day is done. It was a long one too so make you sure you have a good night's rest because tomorrow is not going to be any easier. The duke wants the town to look absolutely perfect for the festival.
If you don't feel like sleeping just yet I hear the inn is running a small darts tournament. The food is bad and the rooms are small, but at least the alcohol is good. Apple cider all around!
[ mission: so about that curse! in order to break out of your curse you'll be needing three triggers or one big one. more information & examples here. hold your horses though, you aren't supposed to break free in just one night. ]

[ arches eyebrows up. she can't even shoot can she. idk. she likes guns but she never used one
OR DID SHE ]

There are some brand new swords too if the scalpels prove too ineffiecent for you.

[ crosses her hands over the table, entwining her fingers ]
But if you're that desperate for some money, I can buy one or two. Think of it as a favour you'll owe me later.

If you want we can go take a look at them right now, the store is still open.
[ selling the swords is going to be much easier than the guns. who needs a gun? especially a weird one. ]

I have time before my next appointment. [ gets up, sliding her hands in the white doctor coat ] Come on, then.

[ finishes his drink and gets up too. winks at rita as they leave the inn. ]

Personal appointment. [ smiles at him ] It's not just the mayor that keeps busy.
no subject
[ yeah you do keep busy. smirks to himself. ]
What kind of, ah, an appointment does this happen to be? Someone having trouble with falling asleep?
no subject
It's none of your business, Jacob.

[ if it's so scandalous... ]

Don't be dramatic. [ dusts off the lapel of her collar ] You must be worried about not making it this time. Does your daughter knows of your troubles?
no subject
[ which is like nothing. ]
Having such a lass for daughter, we're quite blessed.
How about you two? Ever considered having children? And do forgive me if the question seems a little rude. The mayor has been away for so long that she might be pregnant for all I know.

She's a nice girl. [ doesn't know her very well tho so whatever
face creaks at him. forces a polite smile. she'd vomit. having a child with her mrs. adams. she'd kill herself. ]
We don't really have time for a child. We're so busy, it wouldn't be fair - and with this economy...

[ as far as he knows. blind marge was quiet about that one. ]
Besides there's that lad helping out the mayor. Norman, was he?

Love isn't the answer to everything, Jacob. [ she pauses ] Unfortunately, that is. [ no ]

Do I detect some trouble in the paradise?
[ did she fail to make your favorite food for dinner? ]

[ pats his cheek. pat pat. ]

[ ony as a hobby of course. he's fairly bad at all kinds of fighting. talking things out is more his way. ]
