Alright yall enough doodling around. It's nightfall in Alderwood, so grab yourself a hotel room, you can either opt for the snazzy spacious 5 star in the high class end of town or one of the less financially debilitating rooms on the second floor of the inn/pub, but expect to hear a lot of hooker noises and drunken cowboys from downstairs. You get what you pay for.

You ought to grab yourself a bounty poster and decide on a plan of action so that you have direction for your adventures tomorrow, because the Sheriff seems like he's not gonna stand for you taking advantage of their kindness if you're not going to hold up your end of the bargain.

There are four main bounties posted in the courthouse, but they're scattered about the town on posters, too. There's Dewie Martin, the highest paying bounty, Earl Johnson, Janna Turner and Billy Turner. There are other, lesser bounties, but those seem to be the four the Sheriff's really pushing for.

[yeah fuck that wild wild west noise. constantine's grabbed a cheap hotel room with his ill-gotten poker-hustlin' gains. it's not like he's planning on sleeping, not for a bit anyway. he locks the door and wedges a door under the doorknob, now that he knows how gross his blood makes the spell now.]

[once the perimeter's secured, he grabs the nasty-ass, scummy washbasin and sets it on the floor, then kneels and begins drawing runes around it on the floor in chalk.]

[runes drawn, he pulls out his hunting knife and pricks his finger, dripping three drops into the bowl along with the gross water. to the surprise of nobody in the room, since he's alone, the scum on the water curls away and sinks to the bottom as the water simmers and hisses and smells like bloody, sulfury arse.]

[pulls the smallest joint of ostensibly-rumplestiltskin's finger out and scrapes a few flakes off into the water. commences chanting as his eyes glaze over.

I don't want to split hairs more than we really have to, but does someone who was more awake than me for the exposition know what this guy actually did?

I guess we are wanted for genocide, though, so... Maybe they're not so good with the terminology. Or. Something.

Dunno about you, but that sounds like good bounty incentive to me.

I guess we have a plan for tomorrow. Sort of. A goal at least.

[squints to scan the other posters because he can't not read things.]

Right. Because I'm sure these posters are complete fact, and getting involved isn't going to blow up in anyone's faces.

Well, I guess we could stay here for a few days. It's. Really improbable here, which is always fun.

[sam would like it better here. cam would like it better here. teal'c would like it better here. jack... who knows what vala would like, but daniel's pretty sure he's about the only person he knows who doesn't appreciate westworld. maybe mckay wouldn't like it, but he doesn't like anything.]

[frowns at august, but thoughtfully, not like people usually frown at august.]

Well the way I understood it, we're looking for these guys to repay a sort of debt to society, right? Because of our ostensible crimes. So in the interest of self-interest, it's us or them, and in the interest of interest in others, we could always try to talk to them before we start shooting and see what their side is, which might be more than anyone else would give them.

Fair enough....They'd be expecting us in the day I'd imagine. Guards up, you know how wily those yanks get. We don't really want another shootout.

[kind of wrapped up in the magic, but he really wasn't expecting anybody who wasn't like maybe castiel, and he definitely wasn't expecting anyone to come in through the window.

Ye-ah, you're right. I'm not sure about the wisdom of wandering off alone in the dark, but neither am I sure of the wisdom of a pitched battle at high noon. Actually no, that sounds worse. Maybe we should... Be more circumspect.

[face-twitches at august's comment but doesn't respond, since the answer is a pretty firm no. he's not at all sure he's one of them in any way that matters.]

I think it could be pretty bad either way. But if it's just two or three of us, maybe not so threatening. Everyone else is on the hunt tomorrow, so it might be our only chance.

Deal. Of course, if they do start shooting at us, our chances of escaping unharmed are somewhat lessened, but at least it'll be easier for two or three to run under cover of darkness than twenty.
